Work was nice enough to put me up in the Inverness City Suites for the week, think I must be doing something right there after all. I would say this: it’s a remarkably well equipped apartment. I had everything in there, plus some really well-crafted furniture. Clear they’re going for top end at this place. show moreDifficult to see many ways in which the condominium could have been improved. It was clean and well kitted out with everything I needed. It was close to both the centre of Inverness and the train station. I liked the way it’d been decorated and loved the fact that it was pet friendly. Good experience, all in all. show moreI’m a bit familiar with this sort of accommodation. I’ve done the whole self-catering apartment rental many times with work, this was my first time trying it out as a civilian, though. One of the better equipped places I’ve visited, especially the kitchen. And the condominium was definitely the cleanest I’ve seen. Well done. show more
More than your typical apartments, I’ll give them that. I’m a bit of a veteran of the self-catering accommodation scene and I’ve seen the worst the genre has to offer. This isn’t it. Not by a long way. Quite the opposite, in fact. Washing machine, kitchen, internet: all excellent. show moreWe actually had a view of the river, which was great. Got to see a whole side of Inverness that most people don’t get to see, I reckon. Anyway, in practical terms, we had everything. Good facilities, the location was spot on, and there was a lot of parking. This is what I’d like to see more of. show moreWe stayed in the bed and food, rather than the apartments, and everything was very good. Obviously those who stay here will point to the location as being one of the best factors, though there’s a lot to be said for what’s on the inside, too. A comfy bed, for example, and a great shower. And all of it very clean. show more
We originally booked because it was so close to the castle, which was the main thing we wanted to see, but it turned out the area had a lot going for it anyway. Bars and restaurants and so on. As did the apartment. We had Wi-Fi, plenty of space, free parking, and even board games. Great for Inverness visitors. show moreA ridiculous amount of things you can do in Inverness. In fact, it’s a bit hard to give a proper review of this place as we didn’t do much else here other than sleep. Still, for that purpose, it was very good. Comfortable and clean. Having the price so low was a benefit. show moreNot my first time visiting, though the last time I was here, it was still known as the Hillview House Hostel. Guess times have changed, but I like that not much else has. Still the same superb experience, which is exactly why we booked against after so long. Like meeting up with an old friend. show more
Now, far be it from me to endlessly sing the praise of the West Wing Apartments, but I’ve got to thank somebody, I feel more people will see it if I write it here rather than emailing them. Put simply: we had a wonderful time. Couldn’t have been happier with the service or the rooms themselves. Outstanding. show moreI’d been staying in a lot of bed and food type accommodation for work during something of an extended tour. This was the first time that I’d stayed in a self-catering place. The difference is immeasurable. I like to think of it as my own private home for the week. It was definitely that, so nice. show moreI’ve not been quite so satisfied with my accommodation in a long while. Renting apartments can always be a bit of a risk, you need to make sure the house itself is up to snuff. For the self-catering heads out there, I can assure you that this is one of the best examples I’ve seen. Excellent kitchen, for a start. show more
If you asked me where I wanted to stay a few years back, I’d have probably replied with your typical guest house answers. I’ve since got to know the self-catering accommodation market and I’m suitably impressed. This is a fine example, shows you what to do right. Great kitchen and facilities. show moreWas met at the front door by the host, a sign of good things to come, I thought at the time. Over the course of the weekend, I was proved to be right. It seemed like every little detail was taken care of. I’d like to thank the bed and food owners, they’ve done a good job here. show moreMy husband and I had a really pleasant stay here recently, the hostess made us feel extremely welcome. It was conveniently located with just a 20 minute walk into the centre of Inverness. Our room was lovely with all the necessary amenities and felt very cosy – we both slept very well. show more
It was a two-bedroom apartment, so that was more than big enough for our smallish family. So, three of us in all, all adults, which you might think would encroach on the space. Not really. It was very spacious, so that’s commendable. We had all the pots, pans, electrical items, and so on we could want. Top stuff. show more
