Well located a short walk from the centre of York, with parking which was excellent, as we walked everywhere. Our room was a bit dated but comfortable and clean and breakfast was good with waitress service. There is a nice bar to enjoy a nightcap. We thought it was a good value for money place.

Close to the centre but the location itself in a quiet place. A lovely Victorian villa and our room was nicely decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean and the shower was fabulous. The breakfast was full English, plenty of cereals, fruits and yoghurts as well. A good stay and we would definitely do a return visit of back in lovely York.

Lovely and comfortable place to stay.
Very handy for the races, train station and city centre.
Arrived a little early, but were able to leave bags and luggage, whilst we went for a wander to the races.

A rare find in allowing one night stay and for a single traveller too.
Situated close to the attractions in a quiet suburb.
Warm and friendly hosts with a nice glass of sherry in the room.
Had a wonderful full English breakfast mainly to make up for the cost/value of the room.
The shower was good and the bed comfy, although was expecting something a bit less dated
