That the room came furnished with antiques – nice ones, too – really was the icing on the cake. Can see a lot of thought has been put into running this place, much more than your standard B&B. met the owner, who did a lot to make sure we had a great time. That included a wonderful breakfast, cooked to our liking.

I’ll say this – if you want to stay somewhere a bit different, somewhere with a bit of character, then the Old Stables will be just what you’ve been after. Loved the conversion, turned the building into the perfect bed and breakfast. All in all, one of the best holiday experiences we’ve had for a long time. Highly recommended.
