A truly fantastic place to stay. Definitely one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever been to. Can’t praise the staff highly enough. Love the peaceful location and especially the picturesque grounds - made sure I took lots of great photos to show my friends. Definitely recommend The Morritt Hotel Barnard Castle.

We live within an hour's drive of the hotel and decided to have a girly night there - we were not disappointed.
All the staff provided excellent and friendly service, we enjoyed the spa facilities.
Rooms are modern, nicely decorated, well equipped including nice toiletries.
We splashed out at dinner and had a superb meal. Breakfast too was delicious.
We will definitely be revisiting and look forward to it.
