Had a lovely room, location was very handy for Baslow. Bedding and mattress both great, shower worked perfectly. Staff consistently brilliant. Price was about right.

Fair to say that I recommend the Devonshire Arms, offered plenty of value for a relatively low price. The simple things like parking and wi-fi were done well, while breakfast was delicious, especially the eggs benedict (plenty of choice). It’s right in the heart of the Peak District, so maybe not lively enough for some but I loved it.

I really liked the traditional country vibes at the Bed and Breakfast, could see them in the bar area, the restaurant and the rooms. All the decoration was really well done, in fact, plus a real log-burning fire never hurts. The only slightly dated part was the en-suite, though everything still functioned perfectly. Special thanks to the staff for their hard work.
