This was a very comfortable and friendly establishment. The hosts were at all times helpful and the breakfasts were sublime - the best. I would stay there again. Highly recommended.

Situated within an easy 10-15 minute walk to the city centre, The Bloomsbury is a very comfortable B&B with high standards of cleanliness. Tricia & Steve are wonderful hosts, making their guests feel welcome, and providing excellent breakfasts, often using local produce, to set you up for the day. They know the city so well, and are happy to help in any way they can to ensure that you enjoy your visit to York.

It was actually my parents who stayed. They are both in their 80's and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of their stay. They would highly recommend The Bloomsbury to anyone. Old and young. The staff were caring and very helpful. Meals were delicious and very competitively priced. The room was immaculate and had everything they needed. They would definitely go again!
