The friendly proprietors at The Barn, Nottingham, assure guests of a warm welcome, offering great value B&B accommodation with ten well-appointed rooms. The listed building was converted from a working barn a century and a half ago to a house which has an entrance with oak panelling, large oak beams, an inglenook brick fireplace with a flag stone floor and a carved oak staircase leading to a minstrels gallery.
The house has been in the family for 3 generations and we take pride in giving our guests a great welcome and good food. The bedrooms are tastefully furnished and still have the original brick fireplaces. The house is set on a 1/3 of an acre which is a real country garden. We have our own car park leading from the street over the village stream, the garden has a magnificent variety of shrubs, clematis, roses etc. A lovely place to sit on a summers evening with a wild life pond nearby.
