We stayed for two nights with our four dogs to attend an event in the area. The dogs were made more than welcome, not always easy when you have four! The room was perfect, plenty big enough with en-suite. We ate in the restaurant & the breakfast was lovely too. Our only negative comment & it's a small one was that they had an open mic session on the Saturday night & unfortunately for us our room was right above it. We'd turned in for a fairly early

This was the second time we stayed in the Ship Inn. Caroline and Royston are very welcoming and the breakfast is great. We feel very comfortable staying there and the staff are friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again. Also the Ship Inn is very dog friendly which is very important to us.

The friendly staff at the Ship Inn, Minehead, offer you a very warm welcome and provide great value Inn accommodation with five generously appointed rooms. The hotel is offering 3 deals from £31 on selected nights in September & October. Facilities include nearby parking, plus free Wi-Fi in the rooms & grounds.
The Ship Inn is one of the oldest inns on Exmoor, with roaring log fires in the winter and a large outdoor seating area and children’s play area for the summer months. The hotel accommodation in Porlock consists of 5 centrally heated bedrooms, all en-suite, all with colour television and tea making facilities.
Home made food using local produce is served daily in the bar and restaurant. Cask Marque recommended Real Ales and ciders are served in a genuine Exmoor bar. Pets are most welcome and ample car parking is available. Situated in the beautiful village of Porlock surrounded on three sides by the hills of Exmoor and, on the fourth, by the sea, the Ship Inn makes a wonderful holiday destination.
The Ship Inn offers five centrally heated bedrooms, all en-suite. All rooms have colour television and tea/coffee making facilities. We have our own large car park and pets are welcome. A selection of old fashioned bar games are available during our quieter times including Table Skittles and Shove Ha’penny.
We have an outside seating area protected by a heated cover, for use in all weathers. There is also an upper garden with a large children’s play area. Parking is available in our large private car park. Functions and groups catered for. Recent successful events include: weddings, christenings, special birthdays, graduations, hunt meets and anniversaries.
