A really pleasant overnight stay nice and quiet slept well the Wi-Fi worked and there was a microwave outside the room so trip to coop on the corner left options for dinner. Convenient for university of Nottingham a short drive away.

Very impressed, still staying here during the week. Room super clean and has micro wave and small fridge. Landlady very friendly. Great location, great local pub/rest, CO OP on the corner, close to walks on the Trent. Only down side extra for Breakfast and could be a bit cheaper giving the other options to stay in Nottingham.

Everything was just as I wanted, especially the en-suite because it had a BATH! Too many places nowadays only have showers. Very good value.

It was excellent. The room and bathroom was very bright and very clean. People in the guest house was really nice, very helpful. I will certainly recommend this guest house to anybody who wants a quite sleep and friendly service! It is also close to the best pub in Nottingham!

I would highly recommend this guest house, not least in terms of value-for-money and convenience. Sue is a personable proprietor with the capacity for excellent attention to detail. She has thought of everything in terms of facilities for this type of bed and breakfast and pays particular attention to hygiene and convenience. It was very small but everything was there. And it was clean. Bed was good. Breakfast??Continental was what she offered but the meaning of continental breakfast for us is different. So for us we had breakfast at the pub and that was nice. But Overall it was okay.

The Grove is a privately owned family run guest house. Your hosts, Sue and Roy Davies take great care to ensure that your stay, whether for business or pleasure, is as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

Originally built as a large Victorian family home The Grove has been converted to a 9 bedroom guest house offering modern, competitively priced accommodation.

There are several good public houses in the local area that serve excellent food. In addition, there are a variety of very good restaurants offering a varied selection of cuisine; Italian, Indian, Thai, Cantonese, Chinese, traditional English and of course a number of cafes and take-away establishments (Pizza Hut and McDonalds) .

Should you wish to have food delivered, there are various menus available at Reception. We are happy to provide plates, cutlery and napkins.
