Superb stay here, the room was immaculate and well situated for the city centre and the river. It was a great base for exploring the area and breakfast was great with a good selection

What a find this was, the hosts were very nice and the room was nice with a comfy bed and well maintained. Would definitely book to stay here again when we next visit York.

We’ve just come back from a lovely stay at the Chelmsford Place Guest House, our hosts – Janie and Steve were excellent. Our room was a good size with a nice spacious ensuite and a very comfortable bed. It was around a 15 minute walk to the city and a lovely full English in the mornings.
