  • "Although this hotel does need some updating there are some very good reasons for staying here. Rooms on the top floor seem to be the best. Ours was a good size, clean and quiet, staff all very courteous. Excellent value for a city centre hotel and I would stay again." Dave R Dave R Review Score; 8.3/10

  • "Birmingham covers such a large area these days, so it is wise to check your location before booking into somewhere to stay(note to staff). Atholl Lodge is SE of the city around the Tyseley and Acocks Green area. So if your looking for a B&B in the area and you have a dog or don't mind them, Atholl will fit the bill. With easy access to the NEC it suited me perfectly. Great value, helpful and friendly owners and Monty the Pointer always happy to see you when allowed out." • "Great for both the NEC and Birmingham City centre, about 20 minutes either way by car. Elmdon Lodge had a pretty garden to the rear with ample off street parking. So you can head into the city by train from nearby Acocks Green. Our room was lovely and clean and had a bath/shower en-suite. Catherine was the perfect hostess with a few handy hints for shopping whilst hubby was working at the NEC. This lovely B&B made a really nice change from the more commercial hotels." • "Had picked this Premier Inn due to it's location, close to Birmingham New Street and the ICC. As it turned out it was also handy for a wander around the Bullring shopping Centre. Breakfast was much better here than at other locations by PI but the rooms were a little smaller. Given that we were only here for the night then it wasn't really that much of an issue and the breakfast did kind of make up for it. Rooms at the rear are a better bet and grab a B&B deal and give their breakfast a try." Craiig & Sash Craiig & Sash Review Score; 8.7/10

  • "Fabulous sized rooms, well decorated throughout with a fantastic drawing room in which to relax and read the papers. If it hadn't been winter I'm sure the garden would have made an excellent place to retreat or eat any of the fabulous breakfast on offer. With Five ways station down the road and Birmingham City Centre not much further you were never going to be surrounded by countryside, but somehow despite the frontal aspect of The Blue Piano your engulfed into a little oasis once you've stepped inside. Can't wait to return, for the breakfast, hospitality and to enjoy that wonderful garden." M. Rodney M. Rodney Review Score; 8.7/10

  • "Superb size and with a great en-suite, I was more than happy with room at the Innkeepers Lodge. It was to the rear of the building so was lovely and quiet. Having come to visit friends in nearby Quinton - there flat being a little small, I was basically looking for the cheapest and closest B&B, but was pleasantly surprised with my cooked breakfast. So in the end I got a great deal and a great night out in Birmingham." Mitzy Mitzy Review Score; 8.0/10

The room was clean, comfortable and contemporary and you were made to feel right at home. There was a good shower with plenty of hot water and a lovely breakfast to send me on my way. Probably on the wrong side of the A45 if I'm being really picky as the roundabout to head back on the carriageway to the Airport is only a minute or so up the road. You do get a freindly, proudly run B&B that has been well refurbished and provides for all your needs with great customer service and a cracking breakfast - so no need for airline food." • "We were invited over to the UK by friends we had met whilst travelling. They lived just outside of the city of Birmingham, which we had not been to. We would be staying with them for most of the week but they had booked us into the Clover Spa & bed and breakfast for our first weekend. It was good to find such a relaxing and friendly place to stay in the UK. The staff were good and friendly and our room very comfortable and clean. My Girlfriend enjoyed her treatments from Daniella, which I relaxed in the Sauna and pool. An excellent start to our week in the UK and look forward to visiting more."
