I had a nice visit to The Rugby Hotel in Rugby and the service was great. My room was basic, but extremely comfortable with good facilities. A cracking full English set me up for the day, and the evening meals were good and reasonably priced. 5 stars.

Stayed here for a couple of nights as we were visiting some relatives nearby. It was cheap accommodation and was ideal for us. We had a family room which was clean, with comfortable beds, also very quiet. Food was good.

Nicely located a short drive from Rugby. It would appear to be a popular place as the car park was pretty full and indeed once inside there was a good ambiance and friendly staff. Check in was efficient and my room was pleasing to the eye. I enjoyed a good dinner and food which was freshly cooked to order. No complaints.

This appears to be a popular wedding venue and one was on while we were there which did intrude on our stay to a degree as we were there for a relaxing overnighter, but not enough to complain about. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the shower powerful. Food was good, staff were welcoming and efficient.

We stayed at the Carlton Rugby foe a night as a treat. The room was well presented and nicely decorated with a rather comfy bed. Evening meals are terrific, delicious! food was equally as good which is amazing value considering the rates. We would return here again if in the area and in need of accommodation.

If you want a simple but comfortable place to stay when in Rugby, then I can recommend this hotel. Bed was large, part of a studio apartment layout with a small kitchenette. Given the price, it’s the kind of standards you’d expect, but everything seems to be very clean. Seems a bit dated, but everything does the job well.

A traditional and comfortable hotel within walking distance to the centre of Rugby. Rooms are a little dated but spacious, clean and comfortable, the shower not the best but I have had worse on my travels. Food in the evening was good and well presented, breakfast also very good. Staff all nice and friendly, there are plenty of stairs which may be a problem for anyone with mobility problems. I had a good stay and would be happy to return.

A lovely old building and grounds. The restaurant is beautiful and overlooks the gardens, food was very enjoyable, a tad expensive as were the drinks. Our room was spacious, clean and attractive, breakfast in the morning was very good and came with good service. Overall a very pleasant week-end.

An old and quaint building In a lovely location in Rugby, it was very busy when we were there and staff worked hard but with a smile. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the shower was fantastic. We did not eat there at night but food appeared to be good pub grub, breakfast in the morning was good. There was a good atmosphere and we would be happy to stay again.

Impossible to overstate just how nice the grounds of this hotel are, it’s like something out of a movie. It’s got a very traditional, manor house quality but then you get inside and it’s been pleasingly updated. location in Rugby was similarly agreeable, right next to Dunchurch, something which made my life much easier.

I have vested the woodhouse many times over the last 4 - 5 years but this visit has been the most enjoyable. The refurbished rooms were extremely comfortable and the meal my partner and I had were first class.
As usual the views over the gardens and countryside are stunning and I would defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone.
