    A lovely hotel with parking and a 10 minute walk into town. All the staff were friendly and efficient. The room was pretty small but fine for a short stay with all the expected facilities, the shower was a bit hit and miss in temperature but not a major niggle. I had an excellent dinner and breakfast and overall it was a very good value for money stay.

    Great location walking distance to Taunton and to the train station. The room was clean and comfortable with good facilities. Really enjoyed the breakfast box that was left for us, a good quick start to the day, and all the staff were friendly and polite. Recommend.

    I stayed at Holiday Inn, Taunton when working in the area and it’s in a great location just off the M25. My room was super, with comfy bed, TV, refreshments, modern bathroom with excellent shower. Breakfast was delicious, as were the evening meals with efficient service.5 stars.

    I stayed at the Days Inn hotel when working in the area and I could not fault it. The reception was friendly and I was shown to a nice clean room that had everything I needed and a spotless bathroom. There is no breakfast on offer but in a good location near to many food outlets. I would not hesitate to return.

    I stayed at Taunton House Hotel when working in Taunton and it’s fantastic.     The Corner House Hotel in a lovely homely place with good service. I stayed when visiting family and my room was cosy and warm with everything I needed. The evening menu was varied and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. I would definitely stay again.

    Breakfast very tasty and lots to choose from. Loved the area surrounding the hotel, so peaceful and quiet, and we were only a walk away from other sweet villages. So many nice Somerset countryside walks available near the hotel. Everything we could have asked for.

    I stayed here when working nearby and I could not fault it. I had a lovely room with comfy bed, good refreshments, lots of hot water and fluffy towels and good toiletries. Breakfast was amazing and the staff are excellent. Worth every penny.

    Very well located on the M5, modern rooms and facilities, a good place to break our journey. The bar and lounge areas were very comfortable, our room was spacious and comfortable. The indoor pool and gym were great. Food was good at night and at breakfast and all the staff cheery. Everywhere was kept very clean, we were impressed.

    The Castle At Taunton

    Stopped here overnight for a business trip and I had a really pleasant stay. It’s in an old fashioned hotel and it was ideally located for the Taunton town centre for a variety of shops and restaurants. I really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning which was made with locally sourced ingredients.
