"We had and excellent weekend at Newburgh House and I would like to thank the owners Colin and Suzy for their wonderful hospitality. Our room was at one end of the house and larger than most hotel rooms, with tea facilities (with proper milk) and a fantastic view of the beautiful garden. We slept really well, it is so quiet! Wifi was also available in the room. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with many choices to suit all tastes. Great location and super quiet. We will return. Thank you, Emily and Harry - Portsmouth."

"Absolutely fabulous stay at Byland Abbey and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Our room was gorgeous with a view of the Abbey that lit up at night, the most comfortable bed, complimentary waters and great refreshments, a huge bathroom with wonderful roll top bath and lots of toiletries. Breakfast was amazing and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend to couples and anyone wanting a relaxing break."

"The second time I’ve been to this B&B, got the same warm welcome I got last time. I wasn’t actually visiting the exact same area this year, but made a point of going back for a night. Those homemade cakes are worth the trip. They’ve got free parking on site, as well, which is a bonus."
