Came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Perfect location, the hotel covered the cost of parking which was great. The room was good and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were close to all the attractions and lots of shopping and restaurants. more

Came to visit some friends in the Portsmouth area and have to say this is an absolutely stunning hotel, it’s based right on the dockyard front and it’s close to all amenities. There’s a shopping centre across the road. The cafe was brilliant it seems to attract a lot visitors from non-residents so seems very popular. more

Came to visit some family in Portsmouth. The interior decor is really striking, the style is awesome. Food was delightful. It’s a 2 minute walk to the sea front. The restaurant serves the most amazing dishes. We really enjoyed our meals breakfast was also great. more

Stayed here for a weekend on the boat. Although we were mooring at Port Solent which was a 15 min taxi ride, we did enjoy this upmarket hotel and can recommend to other without hesitation. We found the price for our room very favourable compared to some lesser places in Southsea. more

Stattons was a real treat and lived up to its boutique status very well indeed. Welcomed by gracious and charming owners who showed us to our fabulous room which seemed to ooze every comfort. Our bed was a dream to sleep on and the en-suite excellent too! food was delicious with lots of options including the full English if that's your choice. Recommended! more

We came here for our wedding anniversary. This hotel is stunning. A lovely luxury hotel with luxurious room and a big four poster bed. The bathroom had twin showers which were very powerful. The location was just right, being right next to Portsmouth seafront. Food was beautiful. more

We took the kids here for a few days. Was a nice break. The hotel was good and certainly met our needs. We had a family room which was a good size. The pool was great for the kids. Had such a lovely stay at this Hilton hotel, it’s in a good location for Portsmouth with free parking provided. We had a nice spacious room which had been recently refurbished and immaculately clean. The food was excellent with an array of things to choose from. more

Great location, I was attending a conference so chose to stay at the Ibis due to the location. Close to Portsmouth city centre, Gunwharf Quays and only a 7 minute walk to the station. Room was clean and tidy there is a cafe bar which is open until 1am. There are also a number of pubs across the street. more

    Recommended - right in the heart of Portsmouth will all the bars in Gunwharf Quays at your doorstep. Such great value, we paid less than £50 for our superior room which we found was below the average hotel rate for the weekend we stayed. Food was buffet style and lots of choices, but lack of cooked fayre was our only complaint. show more

    Florence Gardens Boutique Hotel and Restaurant

    Stayed here overnight. We booked a superior room in Florence Gardens. It was extremely spacious with a nice comfortable bed and we had tea and coffee making facilities. The food was really good with so much to choose from. Mary at reception was most helpful and was always available to help. show more

    Excellent, high quality hotel worth every cent. Stayed here for a weekend treat and found the Clarence Hotel the perfect bolt-hole. Our room was splendid, the bed super comfy and the choice of room amenities second-to-none. Food was divine, freshly cooked fine ingredients which we believe are locally sourced organic fayre. Just a 15 minute able into Portsmouth old town and just a few to the Castle and Southsea promenade. show more

    We came for the Victorious festival. The hotel is joined to a hungry horse and there’s also a residents bar and restaurant. The staff are really great here, Reece in particular was very helpful. There is free wifi which worked great. Great budget hotel. show more

    We stayed at the Premier Inn Port Solent overnight as we had to catch an early morning ferry. It’s close to Gunwharf Quay also for shopping. Nice room and a great comfortable bed with tea and coffee facilities and food was good. show more

    No Man‘s Fort

    We loved every minute of our stay at No Man’s Fort, with an easy boat trip to the venue. Our room was fantastic, huge and well presented with all the mod cons. Loved the hot tubs on the top deck, with amazing views! The food was fabulous with great vegetarian options. We highly recommend! show more
