    The B&B is close to the eye hospital and also the 'curry mile'. The owners are lovely and cannot do enough for you and provide an excellent vegetarian breakfast plus the usual cereals, yoghurts etc. The dining room and kitchen are very clean, rooms are nothing fancy but comfortable. Very good value for money and I would stay again.

    Stayed at the Crown & Anchor in the city centre because of a business trip. Found the room quieter than anticipated and did enjoy a few good nights peaceful sleep in a very comfy bed. Within minute walk of all my meetings, so in terms of value and location, both get a big deserved 10/10!

    Booked to stay here for a recent business trip and had a very pleasant stay. The room was great, with tea/coffee and a nice comfortable bed, the staff were great and Lee in particular was very helpful. Breakfast was fantastic freshly cooked and made to order.

    This is a great pub with good accommodation, we stayed here overnight on a recent trip to Manchester. I must say the food was really good and the beer was great too. It’s well situated for the shopping area and also transport links. Nice room, which was clean with tea and coffee facilities.

    In an excellent location close to lots of shops and restaurants and very lively in the evenings. The owners did everything to make our stay good and offered lots of info. Our room was good with an excellent bathroom and it is evident that work is on-going to improve the whole place. I would recommend to anyone for the hospitality and location.

  • We stopped here for 1 night on a recent trip to Manchester, it’s conveniently located for the city and the train station. The bar downstairs was very lively - we had a drink in there and the atmosphere was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed a lovely full English breakfast in the morning.
