Great weekend at The Dorset, its in a good location, walking distance to Lewes town. The room was simple, but very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the breakfast that was fresh and plentiful. Friendly staff. Good value!

We enjoyed a happy overnight stay at Castle Banks Cottage. Tracy and Tim were lovely welcoming hosts. We arrived early and were treated to a pot of tea and pain au chocolate in their sunny garden. The beds were super comfy, the breakfast was very tasty and we would certainly stay there again if were going to that part of the world. Many thanks.

A lovely rambling old house in a nice setting with professional and helpful staff. There is limited parking and public parking can be expensive. Food was excellent in the evening and at breakfast, our room was warm, spacious and comfortable with all the amenities expected. There were a couple of areas which required some attention, a little mould in the shower for instance. Nothing to stop us returning for another stay, relaxing and pleasant.

Had a lovely weekend break here, it’s a lovely family run Bed and Breakfast. We had a nice comfortable room with excellent views and it was all very clean. It was just a short amble to Lewes and there was easy parking provided.

My husband and I stayed here over the weekend. On arrival we were welcomed by the pleasant staff who checked us in and took us to our room. The room was great, nicely decorated and a decent size. Lovely power shower which I could have stayed in all day. Breakfast was fantastic and a good selection.
