    Very well located close to everything. A traditional hotel with very friendly service, rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast next morning was excellent, buffet style for cereals, fruits etc., and a delicious full English with table service. Although there are some areas which require updating we really couldn't fault our stay, only overnight but we would be happy to return for a longer one.

    A great overnight stay. Although our room did not have a sea view it was romantic and charming, spotlessly clean. Dinner and breakfast were both perfectly cooked and enjoyable. Well worth a visit.

    On a recent trip to Lynmouth my husband and I stopped here for a few nights. Jane and Richard were amazing hosts and they really do go out of their way to make their guests comfortable. They offered us plenty of tips regarding the local area and the breakfast served in the morning was delicious.

    A really friendly hotel (stayed one night). My room was on the top floor which was superb, even had complimentary sherry in the room, sorry but I don't drink alcohol very often. Laura is young bright and very enthusiastic and the breakfast the next morning was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and only wished that I could have stayed longer. Miriam Dolphin

    Fabulous weekend at The Rising Sun, the customer service is exceptional. We had a wonderfully comfortable room with a gorgeous bed and delightful claw bath, toiletries and refreshments. The breakfast was first class, as was the evening meals! Beautiful setting in a peaceful location in Lynmouth. The WIFI is free, fast and reliable. We would not hesitate to return!

    Loved this place. It’s set on a hill overlooking Lynmouth and the views are incredible. A great location if you want to visit Exmouth National Park.

    The Bath Hotel

    The views honestly made my eyes water every time I looked out for more then 60 seconds, brought back such lovely memories of my childhood growing up with views like this! Harbour and sea on the horizon, just lovely. Staff were attentive and courteous, pub next door which is part of the hotel had great beer and food. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. If I’m honest though, the room looked a bit outdated but our main concern as comfort and it was very comfortable. Would recommend.

    A really nice hotel with an old and comfortable feel to it, i.e. uneven floors. All the staff were very friendly, the restaurant is impressive, all the breakfast excellent quality. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return and recommend.

  • Rising Sun Hotel

    This is our 2nd time here and it’s still a great place to stay. It’s a great inn which is perfectly located opposite the harbour. Our room was nice with a lovely modern bathroom and underfloor heating. Breakfast was nice with a good a variety to choose from.
