Town centre hotels in Buxton
0.4 miles from Buxton centre"Very well located for walking around Buxton town centre with welcoming and friendly staff. Our room was in a courtyard area at the rear of the pub, very comfortable, warm and clean and a great bathroom. The full English breakfast next morning was well cooked and delicious, no complaints at all. A good pub with rooms which we can recommend."

0.5 miles from Buxton centre"An old and good looking building, quietly located about a 10 minute walk into town and with plenty of parking. I had a very comfortable en-suite room, nicely furnished and decorated and a great breakfast in the morning. This was my first visit to this charming of hotels in Buxton. The area which impressed me enough to plan a few days holiday later in the year with the family. Recommended."

0.5 miles from Buxton centre"The location is good, opposite a park and a short walk into town. The actual building is impressive but the interior has not been well maintained. Having said that, our room was very clean, although décor and furniture past their best, and was lovely and warm. The bathroom was also clean and modern. We found the staff to be friendly, parking was not a problem. There is no breakfast available but plenty of places to eat in town."

0.5 miles from Buxton centre"A nice old building beautifully located overlooking the park and lake, quiet and peaceful yet a short walk into town where there is lots going on. We had a friendly check in and found our room pleasant, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was the usual full English nicely cooked and came with friendly service. There is an honesty bar for those who enjoy a nightcap. Although a little tired in places we had an enjoyable stay, it is a good B&B. "

An old and quirky hotel, lots of charm and character, well located for walking around Buxton's delights. Our room was traditionally furnished, comfortable and warm with all mod cons. Breakfast had an excellent menu and our choices were well cooked and delicious. There are lounges to relax in, a nice restaurant, buzzing bar which also serves food. A really good base for a few days touring this lovely area.
A really beautiful building; probably the most imposing of all Buxton hotels, very impressive on arrival. The location is excellent with great views and close to everything. Our room was lovely and clean, well equipped, but rather dated, as were the public areas, but this would not put us off staying again. Spa and pool facilities were good. Breakfast was excellent, buffet style with good hot and cold choices. All the staff were very pleasant and we would not hesitate to return.
A lovely Victorian house in a quiet area about a 10 minute walk into Buxton. The house is spotlessly clean throughout, our room was spacious and comfortable with nice extra touches. There are choices at breakfast, well cooked and presented. The owners are friendly and welcoming, providing good service to guests. Buxton itself is lovely and we can recommend the Manse to anyone visiting the area.
Great place which was just perfect for a recent weekend break with my husband. The staff were all very friendly and professional and it’s a great location in Buxton with everything just a short walk away. The room was clean, comfortable and very well furnished, also maps and local guides were provided which was very handy.
