A very nice seaside hotel with friendly staff, close to the sea and a short walk to shops. The hotel serves coach holidaymakers so gets quite busy. Rooms are clean and comfortable, food was fine. There are areas of the hotel a bit dated but it is a friendly and comfortable hotel. more

What a lovely hotel, which was good for a recent visit to Newquay. Staff were friendly and there was an indoor pool which we used in the mornings. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere here was very nice. Our room was nicely furnished with good bathroom facilities. more

Stayed here with my husband overnight as we were attending a family wedding which was being held here. We were really impressed with the wedding it went really well and the hotel staff were excellent.     I couldn't fault anything - a great hotel with good amenities - gym, pool etc.. The location in Newquay is good in a nice setting, my room was excellent in every way and had good quality toiletries supplied. Food in the restaurant was very good both evening and meal service. Great staff all provided good service. I would recommend for business or leisure and would be happy to return when back in the Lancaster area. show more

    In a great location in Newquay for beach and town with on site parking. Rooms were good, excellent showers. There is a lounge to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and chat to other guests.     We had a great time at Newquay Village, its 2 miles to the town, and a short walk to the stunning beaches. We had a nice caravan that was really warm and clean, good beds and a powerful shower. The kids loved the swimming pool and sauna, and the clubhouse restaurant served delicious food at reasonable prices. We have booked to return again. show more

    Porth Veor Manor Hotel

    I recently stayed at Porth Veor Manor on one of their special 'gourmet breaks' I enjoyed my meal at 15 Cornwall and also found my meal at Beaucliffes restaurant just as appetising. I booked the hotel because of its close access to Porth beach and because it is close to Newquay, but without the noise! I thought the hotel was wonderful and the recent refurbishments have been carried out very carefully. The building retains many original period features, but still offers modern facilities. The food was exceptional and the service was on a par with a 4* hotel. Parking was an issue, but as I understand a new much larger car park will be available from 28 July. Overall, I think this is a great hotel and would love to return, I will not hesitate to recommend to friends and family. show more
