Just in terms of the way the building looks, I was impressed. The hotel itself is definitely impressive, like the way it adds a bit of personality and separates it from the drudgery of places you normally get. Same on the inside with the chandeliers and whatnot. Very pleased with the three nights, so many thanks. more

I hadn’t realised that Mottram Hall was a bit of a destination for golfers until I arrived. Didn’t play myself, but nice to have it as an option. Instead, I focused more on the spa and such. The intention was to relax and relax I did. Really pleased with the results, came home a new person, I think. more

The building and grounds are a beautiful sight. Rooms, although well equipped were somewhat dated and not thoroughly clean. We enjoyed some spa treatments and had good service. breakfast was enjoyable and came with good service. We did have an enjoyable stay but with some disappointments for a 4 star hotel. more

    Premier Inn Macclesfield North

    Now, I’ve heard people say that if you’ve stayed in one of these hotels then you’ve stayed in them all. In my experience, that’s simply not true. The quality ranges massively. Thankfully, however, this was a particular fine example. Special credit to the staff, whose eager, polite attitudes made me feel very much at home. show more

  • Hollin Hall Hotel

    Although parking was a little tight (not much room), we were treated very well. We took our little dogs and were helped by friendly staff when a function was being held, the dogs were fussed over by everybody. The room was comfortable and breakfast was great you could eat as much or little as you like as it was help yourself. Hot and cold food was available, juices and teas too. Hotel staff was pleasant even though we could only stay one night, we would not hesitate to book again when we visit my sister again later in the year. Keep up the good work! show more

    Shrigley Hall Hotel

    Our first eve we were appalled to find we had been allocated a room on the far wing (only fit for stag night guests) it had a most profuse smell and the walls were mouldy' most importantly the window was far from secure (No. 169) We were moved to room 204 but were kept awake most of the evening by outside stock doors banging''' This was generously rectified with a reduction in our charges and as we ere due to attend my sons wedding the following day 28.03.09 we were told that if we were disturbed again then we could utilise another room until the morning in order to insure a good nights rest. Fortunately this was not required and we stayed for a further two evenings. The hotel’s staff were all very helpful and most professional and I thank them all for their attentiveness.
