In a great location just a few minutes walk to everything Chester has to offer. Our room was basic, large and clean and the shared bathroom was clean and adequate. The pub has a homely atmosphere and the guy who runs it was friendly and helpful. For the money it was excellent value and I would stay again. more

My husband and I stayed at Oddfellows for the weekend. It’s a nice hotel and it’s located in the middle of Chester. The staff were fantastic. The bar was lovely and we really enjoyed their cocktails. We also had the afternoon tea which was very nice and breakfast was also very good. more

    A superb dog friendly hotel which are very hard to come by. Owners and staff gave us a very warm welcome. Food was excellent with superb choice a well laid out. Key given for rear door from car park provided easier access. Short stroll into Chester and right next to canal. All in all would gladly recommend the hotel and will stay again when in the area. show more

    A large (small) hotel, family run, all polite and friendly, close to Chester station and city centre, with limited parking. The room was clean and comfortable, quite spacious but the bathroom was tiny. From what I could see, most of the place needs a little tlc as it is a little tired looking. The food was good with choices. With free wifi and a bar to relax in, could be very good with some money spent on it. show more

    While the room we had was a bit shabby and the carpet in poor condition it seemed quite clean. The real plus to the hotel for us was that it allowed the dog, was non-smoking and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We ate in the bar area and the food and service was excellent and so reasonably priced. The dinner specials looked quite good and if they compared to our simple bar meals must be quite a barging. show more
