We loved our stay in this beautiful building and city. Rooms are basic but clean, not a problem, we were out all the time, there were tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was taken in another building and was good, buffet style to suit most people I think. Great architecture and style, we will recommend to others. more

Centrally located close to restaurants and can be noisy at night, I recommend a room overlooking the park which is what I had. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. There is a lounge to relax in too. Food was good, continental style and plenty of choice. I would happily return if back on business in the Cambridge area. more

    We stayed at this Cambridge hotel for a couple of nights whilst visiting some relatives and were very impressed. The room was spacious and nicely presented, and very clean with nice bed linen.     Stayed overnight at Shelford Lodge to break up a long journey. It’s no frills, and the room was basic, but adequate, with a comfy bed and plenty of piping hot water. Food was self service continental with a good choice. Happy for the price we paid. show more

The location is good although out of Cambridge. I thought it was very good value and will be staying on any future visit, good for business or leisure stays. show more

    Ramada Cambridge

    This hotel is now a Ramada place. Very handy as a stop over being just off the A14 and plenty of parking. A good 15 minute drive into the centre though. The room I had was spacious and comfortable and the staff I came into contact with were all friendly and helpful. Have had a better food - still a good value stay. show more

    A nice hotel which was perfect for a recent visit to Cambridge with a friend. The rooms are good value for money and the staff were very efficient and helpful. The room was slightly old fashioned but it was clean and comfy with ensuite facilities. It was around a 20 minute walk into town but there was also a bus service which could take you there. show more

Improved since our last stay by having crockery rather than disposable plates and cups at the continental meal service. Midweek in winter better than a weekend in summer, because quieter. show more

    A very clean and well maintained hotel, new I think. My room was comfortable with all the usual facilities and although overlooking the main road I slept well, no noise. The food in the evening and morning was superior to most other hotels I stayed in and at value for money. A great stay all round. show more
