This small, family-run hotel is set in the heart of Inverkip, a historic conservation village on the magnificent Clyde Coast of Scotland. Less than half an hour from Glasgow Airport, 10 minutes from ferries to the Highlands & Islands, it’s literally a stroll away from Scotland’s top marina. Inverkip is steeped in history - our own and possibly yours too, as so many of our guests have discovered when they’ve come here looking for ancestors.
Travellers have been welcome here for almost three centuries, when bone-weary passengers used to pause for the night at the early 18th century coaching inn. Today, our guests expect a good deal more.
The Inverkip Hotel is as popular with visitors from all over the world as it is with local folk, and no wonder. Our hospitality is genuine - from the authentic Scottish food & drink we serve ... to the pride we take in the quality of our accommodation.
The Hotel is owned and operated by Alistair Hardy and David Cushley, brothers-in-law who personally oversee every aspect of the business. And recently Alistair’s sister Margaret Waggott has joined the team, taking special interest in the management of the kitchen and front of house. Despite the relaxed and friendly atmosphere, such attention to detail from the family sets the standard for all of the staff that will be looking after you.
Rooms are available for single or double occupancy. The family room can accommodate up to four. After a good night’s sleep, you’ll be served a full Scottish breakfast in The Rogue’s Room, our private dining room for overnight guests.
