Beyond the 1 acre of gardens and 5 acres of secluded grounds complete with Highland Cattle , lies a treasure trove of equally engaging delights. WALKS abound around the famous villages of the Cotswolds while further afield Shakespeare's Stratford, beautiful Bath and the dreaming spires of Oxford await discovery. CHELTENHAM Racecourse is on the doorstep ( very short walk to the main grandstand - closest hotel to the Race Course ) and the Regency splendour and excellent shopping of the town itself are only minutes away.
We have a large secure car park ( with lockable area especially those with racing cars visiting Prescot Hill Climb - 5 miles) and fully approved landing facilities for up to 3 helecopters.
ROOMS:
WHILE our fourteen double/twin ensuite bedrooms all share modern comforts such as a free Wi-Fi internet , SKY TV , flat screen HD TV, radio, ironing facility and tea & coffee making, they each exude a traditional and distinctive charm. SO, depending on your room, you might encounter a four poster, antique furnishings, beams, a garden view - the list goes on ( it is always best to check with reservations as to your room type ). EACH one is as different and as personal as the rooms in a family home, which is exactly what Prestbury House remains.
The bedrooms are either double , King size or twin en-suite ( sold for single occupancy ) categorised between Premiere Bedrooms ( in the main house) and Standard Bedrooms ( in the 350 yr. old Coach House ). All bedrooms are individually furnished. Our ground floor ( Visit Britain Access Statement Catorgory One ) rooms are in the Coach House.
DIRECTIONS:
On entering Cheltenham follow all signs for Prestbury, Evesham and Cheltenham Racecourse. At the roundabout outside the Racecourse main entrance ( 1/2 mile from Prestbury House ) follow signs for Prestbury down New Barn Lane. Prestbury House is signposted left into The Burgage. Prestbury House is 200 yards on the right hand side.
Prestbury House has full approved helecopter landing facilities .
By Road - Situated at junction 10, 11 and 11a of the M5 and on the A40 and A419 Cheltenham lies within the hub of the motorway and dual carriageway network.
By Rail - Cheltenham Spa is well served by British rail Regional and intercity, including direct services from London Paddington, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Plymouth, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow.

Cheltenham is the most complete Regency town in England and makes a great short break destination for shopping, enjoying the numerous parks and gardens during the colourful summer months or attending the folk, literature, jazz and sporting festivals.
Just up the road from the Hotel is Cheltenham Racecourse, known as the home of National Hunt racing and offering 15 days of racing in a season lasting from October to April. We keep some spares if you should lose your shirt.
