Caroline and Kevin would love to welcome you to their lovely Lakeland guest house in the village of Windermere, at the heart of the English Lake District.
Built in 1817 using the local Lakeland slate, the White Rose now has five delightful en-suite bedrooms.

The Lake District in the Winter months - quiet roads, great views - it is a lovely time to visit this beautiful area.
Early morning mists blanket the waters with clear blue skies above. The softer light of the afternoon and evening sun gives the opportunity to see the towering mountains and the clear reflections in the Lakes.
Take it slowly and enjoy a leisurely walk through the woods and country lanes.
Savour a lovely meal in a quaint country pub or one of the superb restaurants in the area.
Enjoy a conducted bus tour of the Lakes or take a leisurely cruise on the Lake.

We have 5 very pretty en-suite bedrooms: all have a double bed in them and Bedroom 4 has a double bed and a single bed.
Each bedroom has en-suite facilities of a shower and toilet, and in each of the bedrooms,we have Sharps fitted wardrobes and side cupboards with drawers,a colour TV, a hairdryer, an alarm clock radio and a hospitality tray.
After a good night's sleep, enjoy a tasty and very filling English breakfast - or our lighter options for those with smaller appetites and enjoy breakfast in the sunny breakfast room.
