The Wynford hotel is located in Clare Street, Riverside. This is a few hundred yards from the Millennium stadium and we are within walking distance of all the bars and restaurants in the city centre. All the major venues for concerts and conferences are also within easy walking distance and the Cardiff Central Railway & Bus Stations are again only a few minutes walk.

Cardiff Bay is also a major attraction of the city with many trendy bars, comedy club as well as the superb waterfront. You can easily get to the bay from the hotel either by taxi; regular shuttle buses or you can go by water taxi. There is a stop just a few minutes walk from the hotel and you can enjoy a boat ride taking you into the heart of the bay.
If you are visiting Wales as a tourist the Wynford provides an ideal base from where you can explore the surrounding area whether it be the Taff Trail, Brecon Beacons or the Heritage Coastline. You can venture out in the day and be back in the city at night to sample the superb range of nightlife available.
When you come and stay at the Wynford we will provide you with a Key to the City map showing you where all the shopping areas are, restaurants, nightclubs etc and our knowledgeable staff will be happy to point you in the right direction and recommend some excellent local restaurants and clubs for you to try out.
The Wynford Hotel is a privately owned hotel superbly located within walking distance of Cardiff City Centre. The hotel started out some thirty years ago as a small guest house and has grown over the years to become a large 30 bedroomed hotel with all rooms having ensuite bath or showerooms . As well as this we have two large entertainment suites, public bars, nightclub and a restaurant. The restaurant is open Monday - Thursday evenings from 6.00pm until 10.00pm. Bar meals are available on Friday & Saturday evenings.
The Hotel is equipped with an internet area where you can browse the net as well as having the benefit of wireless broadband throughout the hotel for use with you own laptop.(fee payable)
