Description:
Vicki and Mike offer a warm and friendly welcome to their family run bed and breakfast accommodation. Woodacre offers B&B in the traditional style within a home which is full of character and set in beautiful grounds .
WHERE WE ARE
Woodacre is easy to find from the A27 (main south coast road) and provides a convenient location for touring the South of England including Arundel, Chichester, Brighton, Isle of Wight or New Forest.
THE ROOMS
The accommodation comprises of 4 rooms which are in a cottage joined to the main house. 2 rooms are on the ground floor allowing easy access and 2 further rooms are on the first floor. All the rooms are centrally heated, with TV’s and Tea/Coffee making facilities. The rooms are clean and spacious and offer comfortable surroundings to make your stay an enjoyable one.
Double Ensuite Room
This is a fabulous room on the ground floor with it’s own private entrance and parking space. There is a large ensuite shower room with double wash basins and WC. The room has recently been refurbished and offers great comfort. The TV has a DVD player. There is a 5 ft. double bed and therefore suitable for 2 people.
Family Room
This room is also on the ground floor with patio doors opening onto the garden (great for the kids!) There is a one double bed and 2 single beds, therefore, suitable for a family of 4. A Travel Cot can be provided for infants. This room has the use of 2 shared bathrooms adjacent to the room.
Twin Room No. 1
A lovely room with 2 single beds and a great view of the garden. There is a wash basin in the room. The bathrooms are on the ground floor
Twin Room No. 2
This room also has 2 single beds and a washbasin. An extra bed can be put up for children if necessary. The bathrooms are on the ground floor.
GUEST SERVICES
Towels are provided in the rooms and also in the bathrooms. There is free Wireless Internet Access. A Full English Breakfast is included in the price and all diets can be catered for. Cereals, Fruit, Yoghurt and Fruit Juice are also available and also included in the price. Breakfast is served in either our Conservatory or Dining Room both overlooking the garden.
Check in is preferred between 4 and 6pm, unless otherwise arranged and keys are provided to the guests on arrival. You are therefore free to come and go at your leisure. We have ample parking space. Check out is by 10.30 am.
EATING OUT
Just being a few minutes in the car either to Arundel or Chichester there is a vast array of restaurants and bars to choose from. Of course we are surrounded by many small villages which are host to a delightful selection of good old English pubs. It is now possible to walk to our new local pub thanks to Fontwell Race Course who have recently built one.
DIRECTIONS
Travelling from Arundel on A27 towards Chichester after approx. 3 miles take slip road to left sign posted to Fontwell Village, turn immediately left again and Woodacre is the first on your right after garages.
Travelling from Chichester on A27 towards Arundel after approx. 6 miles you will come to Fontwell roundabout (where A27 and A29 meet) take second exit to Fontwell Village (Arundel Road). Pass over 2 mini roundabouts and continue until the road bears left to join A27 again, just before junction Arundel Road continues to the right. Woodacre is the first house on your right after garages.
Trains
Our nearest station is Barnham approx 2 miles from us and serviced from Victoria Station in London. There is a taxi service at the station (Barnham Station Taxis) and their phone number is 01243 551753.
