We stayed for 9 days at the Villa Poggiano in June. It is the closest place to Heaven! So peaceful and lovely with a feeling of timelessness. The views from the Villa and its beautiful gardens are magnificent , and the welcome and ongoing help that we received from the charming Stefania and her wonderful staff were without equal. The Villa itself is filled with beautiful antiiques and has every comfort necessary in its spacious and elegant rooms. The villages of the surrounding area are easily accessible, including Montepulciano, only 2 kms away. It was very hard for us to leave when the time came, for we had a feeling of being right at home!
