Description:
We are now approaching our 7th season at the Tigh Na Cloich and continue to enjoy our chosen profession of serving you our guests some of the finest food Perthshire has to offer and making your stay with us as memorable as possible Our passion for cooking and creating classic dishes has been with us for over 20 years. As Restaurateurs at the Old Smithy Restaurant on Atholl Road in Pitlochry we had a long and successful run from 1990 until 2003, some of you may have already dined there and enjoyed our food in the past. The Old Smithy first brought our family to Pitlochry fifteen years ago.
Our small personally run Pitlochry Hotel reflects our personality, we love to be intimate, relaxed, friendly and enjoy eating and cooking great food. Tigh Na Cloich Hotel in Perthshire offers all these benefits for our customers to experience. Peter and I along with our dedicated team are committed to providing a superior level of service and comfort for our guests. When you enter our lovely Victorian, Highland home, there is a feeling of warmth, tranquillity and well being. The perfect setting for a relaxing holiday or short break in Pitlochry Perthshire and to tour the Highlands of Scotland.
We serve contemporary Scottish cuisine, a range of imaginative dishes as well as the more traditional. Peter Williams is acknowledged as a talented chef , guests return year after year to savour the skill and taste of another creative dish. We have recently been rewarded by the EAT SCOTLAND ' food scheme in recognition of our high standard of cuisine. We use the local larder provided by the Scottish lochs, hills and glens of Perthshire, our own organic herbs and garden vegetables, and maintain our belief in freshness and quality of foods served.
The conservatory and guest lounges are light, spacious, warm and welcoming and occupy an enviable position facing south, looking out to a panoramic view that changes with the seasons, where our guests can enjoy afternoon tea, or read from our well stocked guest library, including books on local topography. The perfect place to relax after your day out and sample our wide selection of wines, Beers, Spirits and Scottish Malts. Take time to enjoy a pre-theatre drink whilst making your choice from the daily changing menu.
