Our breakfast selection includes traditional English, Continental and Vegetarian options. Please let us know in advance if you have any special dietary requirements. About St. Ives
St Ives is one of the most famous seaside holiday towns in the UK. Away from the beaches the harbour is a main attraction where fishing boats still moor alongside granite piers and the view can be enjoyed from the many bars and restaurants. During the summer months the town is a blaze of colour; its maze of narrow streets filled with flowers - not surprising for a regular winner in the 'Britain in Bloom' competition. Nearby are coastal walks for those who wish to savour the rugged landscape and wild flowers set off by the beautiful turquoise sea.
As well as its tradition of fishing, it is world famous as an art centre; studios, shops and galleries are everywhere including the Tate St. Ives. Slightly further afield are Land's End and the Eden Project and many great gardens and stately homes, including St. Michael's Mount. Other attractions within easy reach include wildlife centres, theme parks for children and many that celebrate the Cornish cultural, industrial and maritime heritage.
Tariff
Single, double, twin and family rooms are offered subject to availability and receipt of a deposit. Prices are per person, per night and are inclusive of full English breakfast and VAT at the current rate. Bank Holidays are charged at high season rates.

Children under 16 sharing a room with two adults are charged at reduced rates. We cannot accommodate children under five and do not accept pets. There is a supplementary charge of £5 per person per night for sea-view & £5 for superior rooms.
Weekly bookings do not have to begin or end on a Saturday - this could greatly improve your journey times in the summer. All our bedrooms are on the first and second floors and can only be accessed via stairs. Should there be anything you feel we should be made aware of in order to ensure your comfort and safety whilst you are with us, please bring it to our attention.
How to find us
By Road: Enter St. Ives via Lelant and Carbis Bay on the A3074. Bear left at the Porthminster Hotel, follow this road around along Albert Road. Take a left and left again onto Talland Road. Continue up this road taking the first left to Belyars Lane, The Woodside is the fourth property on the right.
By Rail, Coach or Air: The Rail and Coach stations are situated just off Trelyon avenue. A taxi from here will take about 2/3 minutes. Alternatively take a 10 minute uphill walk to the Hotel following the road directions. Newquay Airport is about 45 minutes drive.
