The Whitehall is a traditional family run hotel with a personal touch. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The Whitehall Hotel is uniquely located in the very heart of Bournemouth, overlooking the beautiful, award-winning Lower Gardens. With its own car park and easy road access, the Whitehall is within five minutes walk of the beach, seafront, BIC Conference Centre, Pavilion Theatre, restaurants, bars, shops and entertainment.
The hotel has 46 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities, many with excellent garden views.There are two lounges, a dining room, a function room and also a bar and sun terrace overlooking Bournemouth’s gardens. From our terrace you can walk down our steps into these beautiful gardens. We have our own car park and a lift to the upper floors. All rooms have en-suite facilities.The hotel is entirely non-smoking.
We are committed to offering you the highest quality of traditional dishes using the best local, seasonal and fresh produce where possible. We offer an excellent three course menu with a varied choice for each course including vegetarian options. Dinner is followed by coffee served at your table or in the comfort of one of our lounges. We are pleased to cater for any special diets and we will always be pleased to discuss our menu with you in advance.
The Whitehall Hotel has an unsurpassed position midway between the Square and Bournemouth Pier. Overlooking the Bournemouth Eye hot air balloon, the hotel’s private gateway leads directly into Bournemouth’s award winning flower gardens. It is only a short level walk to the beach, Pier, Pavilion Theatre, BIC, and pedestrianised square with premier shops and leisure attractions. In Exeter Park Road, at the entrance to the hotel, is our free private car park. To the rear is our private garden and the lower gardens.
