Very pleasant hotel & excellent friendly staff. Slight problem with room which hadnt been made up after first night & as housekeeping was not available to rectify was offered another bigger room to move to.Problem dealt with efficiently and with no fuss. Food excellent & decor very pleasant. Would recommend it & will stay again. Definitely bring kit so can use the gym and the excellent swimming pool.

Great setting, easy to find, very well facilitated with plenty of car park space, pool, gym, bar, costa cafe, creche, etc. Friendly and courteous staff, very helpful and efficient, dealth with all requests promptly. Rooms are small, and within earshot, so not as much privacy as one might expect, also could do with some modernising. Appeared to be a private 21st party the first night and not the advertised event as per website, the only disappointment. Excellent place to stay for short trips, great breakfast too, and will use again when returning to the area.

warm welcome and lovely breakfast. Good value for money. Some indication that I was in fact looking for the GALLEON - as it is no longer known as the waterside would have simplified my journey by over half an hour!
