Description:
The Plaine is a delightful family guest house in the centre of the conservation village of Norton St Philip, Bath, and offers bed-and-breakfast accommodation.
Originally constructed in the 16th Century, the house has been extensively renovated, but still retains many original features.
Guests are accommodated in three double rooms all with four-poster beds and en-suite showers. The rooms are centrally heated and have a television, tea-and-coffee making facilities, hair dryers and radio alarms. We serve full English breakfast and are happy to cater for special dietary requirements. The Plaine is a non-smoking establishment.
The City of Bath is only six miles away and is famous for its Roman Baths, the Royal Crescent, the Circus and fine Georgian terraces. Two miles west of Norton St. Philip is Farleigh Hungerford Castle and, just beyond, the town of Bradford on Avon. Other places of interest are Longleat, Stonehenge, historic Glastonbury, Wells, with its beautiful cathedral, and Cheddar and Wookey Hole.
