The hotel takes it's name from Tamworth's most renowned adopted son, Sir Robert Peel - the 19th Century statesman, Prime Minister, and founder of The Metropolitan Police - who was a member of Parliament for Tamworth from 1834-5 and 1841-6. The Peel Hotel is owned and managed by the Gill family, drawing on over thirty years of experience in the catering, hospitality and hotel trades.
Our aim is to make your stay as comfortable as possible, combining a good standard of accommodation, a high quality, regularly changing menu and a well stocked bar.We are please to say that many of our customers are 'regulars' who enjoy coming back to dependable standards within a friendly atmosphere - delivered at a reasonable price.
Accommodation:
The hotel currently has 19 bedrooms with en suite shower or bathroom facilities ranging from single, luxury twin with two double beds/family room, standard twin, standard double and bridal suite.
No two rooms are the same, although all rooms have been tastefully decorated. Some rooms even have exposed oak beams and high ceilings that give emphasis to the already spacious accommodation.

My partner and I only stayed for one night. The room was very comfortable and the english breakfast was nicely cooked. If we need to stay in the area in the future, we would definitely stay at The Peel.
