Description:
The Parks is located in one of the very few level areas of Torbay, in a convenient position within one of the pleasant parks surrounding the famous Torre Abbey. We are only 300 yards from the golden beaches at Torre Abbey Sands, and Corbyn Head and an enjoyable five minute walk from the Riviera International Conference Centre. Torquay town centre is close by, as are theatres and local shops, pubs and excellent restaurants.
All of the spacious bedrooms at The Parks are well-appointed & furnished to a high standard. All are en-suite with a shower – some also have a bath. Each bedroom has tea & coffee-making facilities & is equipped with colour television, radio, hairdryer & a trouser press. Families may be accommodated, as we have a selection of family rooms. Some family rooms sleep three (in a double bed & a single bed) and some four (in a double & two singles). A double ground floor bedroom with an en-suite bathroom is also available.
At The Parks we have an outdoor heated swimming pool for use by guests. The pool is heated from Easter until later summer & is set in a south-facing sun-trap patio. Tables, chairs & sun-loungers are all provided for guests' use. The hotel serves drinks and snacks so that guests can enjoy refreshments while relaxing by the pool.
Nightime transformation
If it's night life you require, the bay transforms into a wonderland of coloured lights when the sun goes down. Torquay has everything from one of Devon's biggest nightclubs to cosy intimate restaurants. The area also offers a wealth of other night-time activities, including a nine screen multiplex cinema.

Along the 22 miles of English Riviera coastline are 19 beaches and coves. Choose from wide open stretches of sand with beach facilities and watersports or visit one of the many smaller and more secluded coves. Several of our beaches hold coveted awards for cleanliness and water quality.
