Welcome to The Old Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast located within the village of Raskelf near Easingwold, which has recently undergone a major programme of refurbishment, offering high quality en-suite accommodation with a friendly atmosphere.

YORK EASINGWOLD THIRSK NORTHALLERTON RIPON
YORKSHIRE DALES NORTH YORK MOORS NATIONAL PARK
The Old Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast located in Raskelf, just 21/2 miles from the market town of Easingwold and 13 miles from the historic splendours of York, is an ideal base for this lovely part of North Yorkshire with the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors National Park, ‘James Herriot Country’, Castle Howard and an abundance of National Trust and English Heritage properties all within easy reach.
The Old Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast has enjoyed its position on the village street for several hundred years and has recently undergone a sympathetic program of renovation to further equip it for the 21st century, whilst retaining its character and charm.
Visitors are welcome to relax in the Guest Lounge or observe village life from the pretty front garden. A short stroll in the village will take visitors past the old red brick Pound or Pinfold, dating back to the 17th century and used historically to keep stray cattle and sheep in safety until claimed back by their owners, to the beautiful church of St Mary with its 15th century wooden tower, unique in Yorkshire.

This was our third stay at The Old Farmhouse, and we would heartily recommend it to anyone - a first class B & B with first class service! Lovely rooms and breakfast, and a personal service which makes guests feel very welcome and 'at home.' Definitely the best B & B we have stayed in!

We were made very welcome with a cup of tea after being shown to our room. Nothing was too much trouble for them, the room was lovely. Evenings we could sit in the lounge and relax. We would go back again

Brian and Lynda keep a great B&B. They were always helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfasts and wonderful room. Short walk to a really good pub, The Old Black Bull. Good location to visit York and the Elvington Air Museum and also to tour the Yorkshire Dales. We had great time.

Absolutely superb - we were made extremely welcome. The rooms were excellent, having been recently refurbished; the breakfast was excellent and Brian & Linda were superb hosts. They even lent us their York A-Z to enable us to find our way back to the car hire centre and we have returned it this morning.
