This was a most enjoyable visit. The room was excellent as was the breakfast. Pat and Bill(?) were friendly and very welcoming. My grandchildren - who were camping nearby - were most impressed with the "luxury hotel" where I stayed - and so enjoyed breakfast with me on the last day of our visit to the area - courtesy of the house!

A lovely comfortable, clean and frieny place to stay. Peter and Pat are happy to accommodate any changes, such as bringing food back from town to eatin the gueust house, they will even provide platesetc and rehat the food. Highly recommended

My son and I stayed there with our dog. Pat and Peter were very welcoming. Breakfast was superb. The location of the Black Dog was spot on for walks to the coast. A great short stay for all of us and we will definitely be staying again.

Really nice couple that run it. We were very welcome as was our dog! Lovely breakfast, gave helpful advice on walks and how to get to places., pubs etc. Good for a quiet getaway as some places in Lyme it's self seemed to be noisy, above pubs etc. We just went to the pubs then retreated to our nice B&B for a good nights sleep!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Old Black Dog is ideally situated for a few days sight seeing and fossil hunting. We had a very good night sleep in a comfortable room and a great breakfast with alot of choice.

Excellent. Genuinely friendly and very helpful. Excellent value, room, and breakfasts.
Convenient location, close to exellent pub, and Lyme Regis. Bus stop nearby. I will be going back when I go down to do some more sea rowing. Nicely restored former pub, very welcoming people.

Absolutely excellent place to stay - easy access car park, marvellous facilities in the room topped up every day, brilliantly wide ranging breakfast fare, easy access to marvellous coastal scenery, very fair cost, conscientious hosts. Truly excellent break.

Peter & pater were extremely welcoming & friendly to myself & the children. The family room we had was very clean & well equipped with everything you might need. There was lots of information about the local area.
The breakfast was VERY VERY good.
All in all, an excelent b&b, I will definately recommend it.
