Description:
Lilybank is situated on the shores of Lamlash Bay overlooking Holy Isle. Originally built in the late 18th century, Lilybank has been tastefully renovated and refurbished to provide the comfort, quality and facilities of a Scottish Tourist Board 4 Star Guest House.
The enchanting Isle of Arran is known as Scotland in Miniature. It contains the best of what Scotland has to offer, from history and legend, spectacular scenery and challenging outdoor activities to arts and crafts, playing golf or simply relaxing. Then there is the island-made food, whisky and beer, not to mention the beauty products from Arran Aromatics with which to pamper yourselves. Once bitten forever smitten....
Lilybank Guest House has 7 bedrooms: 6 with ensuite shower rooms and 1 with a private bathroom (not ensuite). Each room has a TV, hairdryer, central heating and hospitality tray with tea/coffee making facilities. Four of the rooms have beautiful sea views. Two twin rooms are on the ground floor (and one has the STB award for guests with mobility difficulties).
The sitting room has lovely sea views and here you will find a selection of books and games for use during your stay. There is also a small utility area with refrigerator and glasses where guests may store drinks, wine, etc. to enjoy while relaxing after a day exploring this beautiful island.
Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the bay. Here at Lilybank we try and utilise the abundant local produce such as locally made sausages, black pudding and haggis, free range eggs, organic porridge, oak-smoked kippers, smoked salmon and Arran preserves made at Arran Provisions in Lamlash.
We are also pleased to cater for vegetarians.
