The Horseshoes is situated in the picturesque village of Titchmarsh. It is run by the Wells family and has an excellent reputation, Our Accommodation has been awarded 3 Diamonds by the A A Hotel Services.
The accommodation is in a old converted Coach House and also in the main house next door. All the rooms are centrally heated, ensuite, have colour television and tea and coffee making facilities.
The accommodation also has its own private car parking area and is within walking distance of 2 country pubs, Bed&Breakfast starts at £45.00
We have many Country houses in the local area including Burghley House, Rockingham Castle, Belvoir House, Grimsthorpe Castle, Belton House and Lyveden New Bield Lodge. also there is Wicksteed Park, East of England showground, Kirby Hall and Elton Hall
There are many world war 2 airfields are including Grafton Underwood, RAF Deanthorpe , Spanhoe , Kings Cliffe , USAF Polebrook, Poddington airfield, Chelveston and one at Upper Benefield.
We Have many great golf course's in the local area, Oundle and Elton furze are the main two. Our accommodation is used quite often by fisherman using the local lakes, there are excellent facilities at Lake Elinor, Ringstead lake Rutland Water and Bluebell lake to name a few.
For those who enjoy a faster pace of life visit Rockingham Speedway an all seater race track that is Europes largest out door stadium hosting ASCAR events plus many other types of racing. We are only a short trip from Santa Pod (Wellingborough) which is host to many events including the FIA European Drag racing cup, Kimbolton Kart track is close and Sliverstone a short drive away.
