Went to a Wedding reception there and we were very well looked after by the friendly staff. Our bedroom with 4 poster was large and lovely and the food was very good.

Beautiful acccomodation and very atmospheric. We didn't eat dinner there as we were a last minute booking and the restaurant was full but breakfast was fantastic! We are most certainly going back.

Absolutely fabulous! The hospitality of the owners and manager was outstanding and the Sedgemore room is a must to stay in. The village is so close to all the attractions in the area and just a perfect romantic place.

We stayed in the Sedgemoor room and really enjoyed our visit to the hotel. It was romantic and we wanted to come again for our anniversary in October this year but the room was already taken. Also when we came last year there was a special offer on - £120 for two nights and with the credit crunch this year and the fact that 2 nights will now cost about £180 is a bit of a difference!

Superb location in small pretty village although on a very busy main road. Staff very friendly and helpful on arrival, telling us all about the history of the George Inn which was fascinating. Our bedrooms were superb, and had retained their historic individual character ,complete with 4 poster beds. We had dinner in the hotel restuarant and it was very good indeed. Good wine list too. Great place to stay when visiting Bath and the surrounding area.
