Description:
The Courthouse (Henllys) offer bed and breakfast (B&B) accommodation in a peaceful riverside location less than a 5 minute easy walk from the centre of Betws-y-Coed, in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. This is ideal bed & breakfast accommodation from which to explore Snowdonia, Anglesey, Chester and the rest of North Wales.
As the name suggests the building once served as the police station and magistrates court for Betws-y-Coed. It has been sympathetically restored and refurbished to provide comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation, and still contains many of its original features which make The Courthouse somewhere special in Snowdonia to stay.
Your hosts, Mark and Gillian Bidwell provide an enthusiastic welcome at The Courthouse in its riverside location in Betws-y-Coed. Having lived and travelled in Africa for many years they have now settled in Wales and are always delighted to share their experiences and knowledge of the area.
Some of the individually styled guest bedrooms were formerly magistrates rooms and cells. There are four bedrooms, all of which are en-suite, and are individually decorated and furnished. Some have views across the River Conwy that runs beside The Courthouse, and all rooms have tea & coffee making facilities, and hairdryers.
