The popular Rendezvous Cafe Bar, open from early till late, serves coffees and snacks all day with reasonably priced lunch and evening menus. There is an excellent selection of malt whiskies, Scottish and imported beers.

The County Hotel has 32 spacious and attractively furnished en suite bedrooms. All bedrooms are fully equipped with colour television including Sky Channel, radio, direct dial telephone & tea/coffee hospitality tray. The County is fully centrally heated and has a lift to all floors.
There is much to see and do around Dalkeith: The Butterfly Farm & Dalkeith Country Park are just two of the local attractions. Leisure and sporting interests are catered for in the Golf Range and a 9-hole golf course, and there is also Clay Pigeon Shooting and Microlight Flying. Within a short drive are all the traditional and new attractions of the City of Edinburgh, a major historic part of which is now a World Heritage Site.
