Charming guest accommodation set amidst rolling Essex countryside, offering car parking facilities with transfer to and from Stansted Airport. Subject to pre-booking, we offer ample car parking space for unlimited duration with luxury transport between the accommodation and the airport (15 minutes) at an inclusive cost to guests of £29 sterling.
The Larkswood Restaurant at Thaxted Hall boasts the most complete choice of food and wines, with childrens menu also available.
Guest accommodation comprises a choice of single, double, twin and triple rooms plus a larger family suite of two rooms for up to 5 plus infant. All rooms have en-suite shower/bath/wc and tea and coffee making facilities plus direct dial telephone.
Prices in sterling, room only are from £59 single, £89 double or twin, £104 triple and £134 family suite. Breakfast between 07.00 & 09.00 is £4.50 continental or £11.75 full English freshly cooked. Reservations are by credit/debit card and we operate a maximum 48 hour cancellation policy with 75% refund. Visa/Mastercard/Switch accepted.
HOW TO GET HERE
FROM THE SOUTH exit at M11 junction 8A onto the A120 toward Stansted Airport and Colchester. Take the turnoff to Dunmow town centre and follow the signs to Thaxted on the B184 (6 miles).Thaxted Hall is located just north of the town at the junction with the B1051. Turn right where signposted Sampford and Haverhill then turn immediately right into the drive. For SATNAV users, our postcode is CM6 2RE.
FROM THE NORTH, exit at M11 junction 10 and follow the signs toward Saffron Walden on the B184. Pick up the signs for Thaxted following the one way system and turn right at the traffic lights into Thaxted Road. Continue along the B184 for 6 miles turning left where signposted Sampford and Haverhill.
