Description:
This lovely Victorian property, with on site parking, is set in seven acres of gardens along the canal, overlooking Bath. It is a four minute drive or a lovely 20 minute walk from the centre. With such spectacular views from the terraces and the bedrooms our guests can relax and unwind yet enjoy the historic sites of Bath at the same time. The five star guest house was awarded 'Hotel of the Year' by Which?Hotel Guide in 2005 and all the staff aim to maintain the high standard and friendly atmosphere which it is noted for. Tasburgh House was featured in the channel 5 series ' Hotel Inspector' last year and will be included again in the new 2007 series due to be broadcast this October.
About Us
We cater for travellers from all over the world as well as welcoming Hen parties and business men. We are very happy to help plan your time here as there is so much to see and do. We provide home cooked 'simple suppers' (subject to availability) for guests who want to 'stay in' and enjoy the conservatory and gardens and we offer an interesting selection of wines and spirits.
Rooms
There are 12 deluxe rooms including 7 romantic king-size rooms, 3 family rooms (for well behaved children), a twin and one single room. Each is en-suite with a direct dial telephone, a hairdryer, complimentary mineral waters and pure organic toiletries, sumptious beds, luxury linen and goose down pillows (non-feather available for allergy sufferers)
Facilities
There is wireless broadband connection throughout the property and plenty of areas to chill out and relax in. There is on site Car Parking, a wonderful selection of wines and spirits and access to the canal towpath to walk into Bath. Our staff are always on hand to help give directions and maps and are happy to offer help in deciding where to eat.
