Set in the foothills of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales, Sychnant Pass House is more than just an award winning Country House. Lovely sitting rooms with comfy sofas and beautiful pictures delight the eye; wonderful food served in the candlelit restaurant nourishes the body and a warm welcome embraces the spirit.

A warm friendly welcome awaits you and yours at Sychnant Pass house with log fires, big sitting rooms and equally big sofas to relax in. The house is run very much as a home that takes guests and where you will find all the facilities of a good county house hotel, without any of the stuffiness.

We make every effort to have our rooms the way we would like them if we came to visit ourselves. We have twelve rooms of which seven are suites, two superior rooms, two terraced rooms and a standard room. They are all ensuite, of course. They have tea/coffee facilities, fridges, TV/DVD/Videos, CD'S radio alarms, waffle dressing gowns, large soft towels and lots of little touches to make you feel special. They also have an iron and ironing board and we can even provide a pile of ironing if you feel the need to use them.

We are delighted to welcome you to our home and hope that you enjoy your evening with us, relax and enjoy the ambience of the house while we prepare your meal. All our food is freshly produced using good quality seasonal ingredients which we purchase locally wherever possible. As everything is cooked to order your patience at busy times would be much appreciated.

At Sychnant we warmly welcome well behaved children. but we are not a baby sitting service and we do expect parents to control their little people so that our older guests can enjoy their well deserved breaks. We really do try to do as much as possible to make life pleasant for all our guests and with that in mind we have games, toys and videos available for our smaller residents.
