Description:
Springfield is a spacious country cottage on the A710 road located between Colvend and Sandyhills, close to the Solway coast. It lies in good sized, mature gardens with views to hills to the front and to woodland to the rear. The bed and breakfast provides a relaxing, friendly atmosphere with all the comforts of home.
Originally built as two separate cottages Springfield has been extended over the years to provide its current spacious layout. The last extensive refurbishment, carried out in 2005, provided all bedrooms with their own en-suite facilities. The property offers two king size double rooms - one with an extra single bed both en suite with bath/shower and two standard doubles en suite with shower.
We cater for our four-legged friends (we have a German Shepherd of our own) who will find lots of extensive walks in the area. Also on offer is safe and secure lockup for bikes, drying facilities for golfers, bikers and walkers and a mini-gym.
Open all year round Springfield provides the perfect stop off point to explore beautiful, and relatively unspoilt, Dumfries and Galloway.
