Description:
Sparth House, with all the majestic splendour of Georgian architecture and set in its own wooded grounds, was built in 1740. The interior, with wood panelled walls festooned with oil paintings and antique figurines delicately poised throughout the hotel, reflects the elegance and enchantment of the Victorian era.
Sparth House is perfectly situated on the edge of the Ribble Valley within easy reach of the Lake District and the Trough of Bowland. Nearby are many historic features and attractions including Clitheroe Castle, Whalley Abbey and Haworth Art Gallery.
We have 16 individually styled suites and bedrooms, including a room which has the original furnishings from one of the Liner's State Rooms dating back to the turn of the century. Whatever the occasion we have one to suit, whether it is for the overnight business trip or the weekend or mid week break.
There is extensive parking and three acres of gardens for you to stroll and relax in.
Our restaurant is open to residents and non residents and an a la carte and table d'hôte menu is available both at lunch and in the evening. Morning coffee and bar snacks are also available
