This hotel brings a Sparkle to the nation! Spot us in Blackpool wearing a Dalmation!!! Sparkles Hotel is a Victorian property which has undergone over the past seven years a complete re-design. From 23 bedrooms are now created eight themed suites, spacious, colourful and fun. It has recently won the "Hotel of the Year 1-9 bedrooms" in the 2004 Blackpool Tourism Awards, and has a Four Diamond Visit Britain Grading.
Sparkles is a very different kind of hotel. It encourages guests to use all the wonderful child friendly services so that parents ENJOY their children. Yet, there are times when during three hours of supervised activities, parents can also enjoy being without the kids! Time to put your feet up and have a well deserved glass of wine in your lovely suite.
All the themed suites and bedrooms are en-suite. Some bathrooms are "Fantasy Bathrooms" and have whirlpool or Jacuzzi baths. All are themed to their room which makes the bathroom experience fun. Bath toys are waiting for the children at the end of the day, helping you keep to their usual routine, helping them settle for bedtime. Fluffy Bathrobes are available too.
In the rooms and suites themselves there are soft toys, books, games and Disney Costumes. As well as the usual TV's (some with Video Players) Radio Alarm Clocks, Tea making facilities and "Welcome to Sparkles Treats Pack" . As well as crisps, kit-kats, Grandma Wild's biscuits, juice for the children, this also include a pint of milk in your mini-fridge. Fresh Coffee can be requested, but is stocked in the larger suites.
Some rooms have dining areas which means parents may choose to have Room Service Breakfast. We serve a variety of healthy breakfasts at Sparkles including Fresh and fruity, Chocoholic, Salmon and Bagel, and the Full Monty Continental. For a special treat, we also can serve a Picnic Hamper during your stay with wonderful foods straight from the "deli".Sparkles has no license, which means we are happy to chill your champagne/wine for a special anniversary. Glasses are provided in all rooms, and as there is a children's curfew at 10pm in the recently refurbished Cruella De Ville Drawing Room, parents can sit and enjoy the evening unwinding here with their own drinks while the children sleep happily a stones throw away.
Competitions, games and prizes are optional activities and parents often remark that the children kept asking "When are we going back to Sparkles" during the day out. Our advise is therefore to bring a good book! We know that if the children are happy and having a great time within a structured environment, parents can really unwind.
