Solitaire Homestay, on 30 acres of bush and farmland, is flanked by two rivers abounding with birdlife. Security doors with flyscreens are fitted to guest bedrooms, all opening out onto covered veranda. We offer complimentary tea and coffee, advice onlocal sites and walks. Our bathrooms were newly built for the 2002 season with spacious showers.
Waimamaku, a place of ancient Maori and European settlement is surrounded by splendid coastal and forest walks. Come and experience the hospitality of the Hokianga region. The perfect overnight stop between Auckland and the Bay of Islands, travelling the well signposted "Twin Coast Discovery Route".
